Three different types of assignments
In Grundfos, an international assignment normally lasts between 6 months and 3 years. There are three different types of international assignments:

· Assignments as part of a programme of personal and professional development. Such assignments will normally be part of a long-term career plan

· International assignments with the aim of exchanging professional know-how and acquiring key competences

· Overseas employment of Grundfos staff keen on acquiring international experience
