Solenoid valve

Solenoid valves are broadly used for controlling heat or cooling with ON/OFF consumers. An electrical current is turned into a magnetic field, which opens or closes the valve mechanically.

Solenoid valves are valve types used in applications for refrigerants, gas, vapors, and liquids.

The working principle encompasses applying electrical current to a coil, which creates a magnetic field. It is turned into mechanical energy which opens or closes the valve mechanically.

This is a very reliable principle, cost efficient on a broadly use for any application with a ON/OFF consumers.
Solenoid valves can work as in-line components, and as pilots for larger valves.
