New Functionality
Curve viewer
The calculation and display of the duty point tolerances have changed. For some pump types no tolerances are displayed and the checkbox in the curve viewer is grayed out.
Curves for electro motors
From WinCAPS version 7.42 curves for electro motors will also be displayed.
Initially this functionality has only been enabled for the submersible motor series MS and MMS. You can access these motor curves by checking the "Show Motor Curves" checkbox in the curve viewer.

Save your entire printout in an Acrobat PDF file
In this version it is now also possible to save the entire printout of a selection or a project as one PDF file. You do this by clicking on the "Save as PDF" button in the menu File/Print_Export/Print Preview. Your selected documents will now be saved as a PDF file.

Search for EAN Numbers
Apart from a product number search, it is now also possible to search for a particular EAN number in the catalog.

Copy from the Selection Table (Hitlist)
If you right-mouse click on a cell in the selection table, the data in this particular cell can be copied to a word processor or a spreadsheet program. For a mass export of the data in the selection table you can still use File/Export/Hit list
Sizing of NK pumps according to ISO 5199
When selecting an NK pump, the motor size is calculated with a safety margin according to ISO 5199.
The motor size is decided by calculating the P2 at the duty point and then choose the required motor from the below table.
Safety margins according to ISO 5199

Calculation of the second duty point in boiler feed applications
In the selection of boiler feed applications, which is in the Industrial Applications section of the Sizing part, the second duty point will now be graphically displayed.
You can determine this second duty point by giving the values for the safety factor for head and flow:

These values will be checked by WinCAPS and based on this input and an NPSH check, a pump is selected and the two duty points displayed

Second duty point will be checked and displayed.
