People from 50 different countries compete in Bjerringbro

May 2005
Almost 700 athletes from 50 different countries will compete in 20 different sports in Bjerringbro, when Grundfos holds the Grundfos Olympics during Whitsun 13-16 May. The purpose of this big event is to strenghten the solidarity across nations and cultures.

In between the competitions there will also be time for social events, where the Grundfos employees are very eager to present examples of their individual cultural characteristics to their foreign colleagues. The photo shows Chinese employees preparing a "Dragon Dance". In China the dragon is originally a royal symbol.
