Grundfos’ factory in Fresno in sunny California recently installed solar panels – which practically make the factory independent of other energy sources.

They may call it the world’s largest pump factory heated by the sun. In this way the Grundfos factory demonstrates extraordinary leadership in the fight against global heating.

”The change to solar power demonstrates Grundfos’ willingness to focus on sustainable development. Of course it is good for the local environment and in addition we hope we are setting a good example,” said Bill May, Gen. Man. of GMU.
