  Graduated - Job rotation

Have you ever thought about how you would like to use your education?

Have you decided what you want to finish up doing?

Do you want to be a specialist? – Or perhaps a manager?

Have you considered whether you have what it takes to be a project manager?
Your life as a student is over – and you are about to enter the real world. You might choose one direction now, and perhaps in 2 – 3 years, you will have second thoughts about your choice.

You could also choose to be a job rotation employee at Grundfos. Job rotation gives you the opportunity to try various kinds of careers before you make your final decision.

What is job rotation?
Job rotation lasts 2 years. This is divided into four periods of 6 months in which you work in different Grundfos departments in Denmark or abroad. You will complete a project in each of the four departments. You will be involved in defining the projects – and we will help you to reach both your goals and our goals: To build value for you as well as for Grundfos.

- And what will you gain from this?
Through projects in different departments at Grundfos you will:
  • examine yourself
  • face a number of professional and personal challenges
  • build up networks which go beyond the Danish borders
  • have an opportunity to start a career in one of the leading companies in Denmark.
What does it take to be a rotation employee?
You must be a graduate engineer, have a BCom or a master's degree.

You are probably also:
  • goal oriented
  • project oriented
  • communicative
  • keen to test your limits
and have an abundance of :
  • personal drive and initiative
  • impact
  • ability to build relationships and get results
What should your first job consist of?
- Choices, projects, networks and international relations? – or whatever the Sunday paper offers?

The choice is yours – those who have chosen job rotation at Grundfos are today employees at Grundfos.

Your choice?

Grundfos is an international Group which puts the employees at the centre. We give you the space and the chance to develop – both professionally and personally. This is the only way in which Grundfos can keep on developing. Innovation has always been a keyword for us, and it should always continue to be so.

In order to keep focus on innovation, we need you, your commitment and your ideas. But first of all, we need your ability to think ahead and to be responsible at the same time. At Grundfos we lay stress on the combination of responsibility, thinking ahead and innovation. The entire Group is based on these values – we hope you will participate in developing them further.

    Testimonial from an employee:
"I enjoyed job rotation for two years. This means that I was changing between four different departments after which I was offered a permanent occupation in the development section. This period of rotation gave me an extensive network within Grundfos. Having circulated in the various sections during short term stays, I have come to know a lot of people whom I can contact to help solve problems in no time. In addition to that, the period of rotation gave me technical knowledge, which would usually be difficult to achieve without several job changes. In addition, you gain self-confidence discovering that you are capable of getting reasonable results from tasks that might not be quite within your are."
