In the wake of the recent tsunami which devastated much of Samoa's South East coast, Grundfos Pumps NZ have been in contact with the Samoan Water Authority with an offer to replace a number of significant water supply bores. Four bores were identified in the worst affected areas.
In addition to the supply of the four submersible borehole pumps, Grundfos will also donate NZ$10,000 to the Samoan Water Authority to be used for the cleaning of the four bores, reinstallation of the pumps and other remedial works required in order to restore the water supply.
