  Patent Infringement - Complaint

08/07/2007

"On August 6, 2007, Grundfos Pumps Manufacturing, Corp. filed suit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California against Laing Thermotech, Inc. for infringement of United States Patent Nos. 7,073,528 and 6,536,464. The patented technology relates to water control valves that are adaptable for use with a pump and bypass valve so as to bypass cold or tepid water away from the associated fixture until it reaches the desired temperature. Grundfos Pumps Manufacturing Corp. seeks a permanent injunction preventing all future infringement by Laing and compensatory damages for all past infringement. Due to the ongoing nature of this litigation, Grundfos employees cannot comment on this lawsuit. Any inquiries regarding this matter should be directed to D. Small."
