Technical Project Manager

Key activities for SW Project Manager

  • Develop/establish and implement a project plan.
  • Estimate costs, resources and time required to complete the assigned phase of a project
  • Monitor activities, allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure that targets are met.
  • Identify, resolve or escalate operational problems and avoid / minimise delays.
  • Ensure/lead transfer of products to the full value chain.
  • Accept or reject work results
  • Conduct project meetings
  • Ensure team alignment and motivation
  • Prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
  • Show diligence by raising concerns in due time.
  • Take responsibility for stakeholder management.
  • Support and coordinate a clear and transparent agreement with the Project Board/Key stakeholders regarding the objectives of the project (Benefits, Cost, Quality, Risk, Scope, Time)
  • Create clear and transparent agreements with the Team Managers/Delivery Managers by involving them in the planning and activate them via Work Package

  • Develop the professional area, by providing input to future activities

  • Solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities within the functional area.
  • Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable

  • Experience managing defined processes within project management.
  • Possess industry experience within a business environment.
  • Experience working in a large manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
