Service & Solutions Support Engineer

Purpose of job

The Service&Solutions Support Engineer (SSSE) is responsible for supporting profitable Service&Solutions sales, including all principal duties and responsibilities indicated below.

Key Activities

1.  Inside Sales Support:

Make Service&Solutions portfolio proposals for existing customers in the territory (maintenance contracts, special repairs, retrofits, turn-key solutions, advanced services…etc).

Order intake process: order check, credit check, CRM update of proposal/opportunity, open Service Order, definition of final delivery, purchase order to providers and hand-over to operations.

Attend customer meetings when required.

Other:  Additional tasks may be required from time to time.


2.     Reporting / Time Management:

The SSSE is responsible for ensuring accurate and dedicated maintenance of CRM account details in weekly basis.

Results Reporting:  The SSE will prepare a monthly report in accordance with specific direction from his direct manager.

Time Management:  Effectively utilize the Outlook calendar function for Time Management and Organization (TMO) and meet all deadlines.

Other:  Additional reports may be required from time to time.

Critical knowledge and experience

The ideal candidate has an electrical or mechanical technical background combined with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in contracting / maintenance.

Must have a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical installations related to pumps or similar equipment.

The candidate must have good planning capabilities.

Ability to travel at least 15% of time within the territory.   Must have a valid driver’s license.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good English language level

Eager to stay updated on IT tools and new measurement equipment, control units, electronic features and facts etc.  Working knowledge of computers and PC software, Microsoft Office. AutoCAD

Desire to carry out customer consultancy and translate the voice of the customer and provide customers with advises of proven service solutions.

Driven individual contributor to our profile as a solution provider in pump systems and solutions.
