Manager in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

Help us develop and optimise production technologies

Our AME organisation is comprised of multiple departments developing vital aspects of our manufacturing technology within areas such as hydraulics, motors and mechatronics. In close collaboration with our Centres of Excellence, you will manage a team of approximately 30 technicians (primarily hourly paid employees) in our workshop.  


Driving the development, introduction and optimisation of strategic production technologies, you will:


  • Develop strategies, plans and activities for different projects and ensure ontime completion and plan-compliance
  • Lead resource coordination and prioritisation
  • Optimise production processes based on defined platforms, ensuring flexibility, scalability and costefficiency
  • Take responsibility for department budget, budgeting and followup
  • Ensure continuous performance and process improvement through development


Gain a wide network and expert knowledge

As a manager, you will also become part of the AME extended leadership team. This gives you the opportunity to lead organizational change and help set the strategic direction for AME, whilst also giving you access to a wide cross-border and cross-functional network of contacts.

Technical profile with management experience
We imagine that you:


  • Hold a relevant engineering degree within mechanics, production or similar
  • Have a few years of experience as a manager, preferably with team responsibility within a larger multicultural organization
  • Speak and write English effortlessly
  • Have project management experience – however, this is a plus, not a prerequisite

Ideally, you are also highly result-oriented and able to uncover challenges and possibilities in order to ensure continuous optimisation and development.
