Digital Senior Sales Specialist (m/f/x) for WEREG (location within the Western or Southern Europe – home office is possible)
The Digital Business Development team in Western Region (WEREG) is looking for a Digital Senior Sales Specialist (m/f/x) to be a member of Grundfos’ Digital Business Development team. This team works closely with Sales and Service to ensure a positive customer experience, doing customer visits and demonstrating the digital services with the target of getting customers signing up for new services. They also apply digital and customer insights to identify, sell and provide customers with highly value-adding service and solutions (typical towards end-users in the OPEX market).
Third of the time is spend on internal digital subject matter training and knowledge sharing for Sales Directors, KAM and Sales Engineers. Two thirds of the time are spent on acting as digital ambassador playing a vital role in customer interaction in collaboration with our local sales companies. You will proactively identify new sales leads and drive the service sales process for specific customers, markets, products, or industries. Therefore, you will develop an understanding of the customer value and benefits of our digital services.
As Digital Senior Sales Specialist (m/f/x) you will report to the Director of the Digital Business Development team and will be part a commercially oriented team driving the digital transformation and ensuring integration into the sales region. You will also provide customer- and user feedback to the development team working on the digital services to further enhance our products.
- After completion of a formal education (e.g. master’s degree in science or business or equal) you should have gained some years of professional experience within customer centric digital solutions and sales offerings
- You have a commercial mindset combined with good technical skills
- You have already proven your good stakeholder management competencies (internal and external) – preferably gained working in a complex and international organization
- Experience with international sales and delivery of digital services
- Ability to coach and lead sales processes or projects within the digital offering and service environment (value-based selling)
- Ability to travel
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
