Financial Controller for Grundfos Service & Solutions

In Grundfos Service & Solutions, we deliver full life cycle pump services and solutions for customers worldwide. Through delivery of service offerings which are personalised and customised to our customers, we cover all needs from consultancy to installation, operation, surveillance and optimisation.

 

What is the job about?

As Financial Controller, you are responsible for analysing and conveying financial information in a clear manner to multiple stakeholders in Service & Solutions and being the right hand of the Finance Director.

 

You have good understanding of business processes in the entire value chain and can link this knowledge with financial data and information. You use this knowledge to proactively lead and coordinate all planning, forecasting and business review processes.

 

You prepare analyses and reports that enable the Service & Solutions leadership team to effectively challenge cost and enable informed decision making.

 

As this is a new role there will be a high degree of influence on the content of the role.

 

What do you need to apply?

We expect that you hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Economics, Auditing or equivalent, and that you have 2-4 years of experience either in a finance department or as an auditor in a Big4 firm. Moreover, we imaginge that:

 

  • You have some exposure to complex control environments in an international setting
  • You speak and write English fluently
  • You master MS Excel as well as have some VBA experience

 

It will be an advantage if you have experience with SAP, BW and IBM Cognos suites

 

It is important to us that you possess high ethical standards, just as you thrive on a healthy control environment as a prerequisite for producing timely, correct and transparent information.

 

As a person you are self-driven and proactive, able to take in more than one task at a time, drive them forward and still maintain a strong focus on quality and process. You are structured and analytical in your approach to challenges. Finally, you have a good business understanding, an open mind and enjoy team work and collaborating with many stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds.

 

Additional information

The position is located at our HQ in Bjerringbro, where you will have the opportunity to get close to the management team in Grundfos, Service & Solutions.
