The main purpose of this role is to take accountability for profitable sales growth and leadership for Grundfos Water Utility (WU) Sales in Indonesia. The position will develop and manage the entire sales pipeline from identifying and influencing opportunities through to securing contracts and ensuring customer retention. The position will also review and structure appropriate sales channels to access each market sector. This includes coordination and motivation of WU team to promote and sell the company's solutions and services to ensure growth and profitability

-Prepare and follow up Sales budget and activities in WU
-Establish and expand sales channel partners and distributors to strengthen market penetration and coverage
-Establish an accurate sales pipeline to fully understand the size, timing and likely success rate for all major WU projects from project design phase through to order placement
-Implement the Area strategies and action plan
-Promote teamwork and team spirit among the colleagues
-Lead and manage developing WU team including any needed function within
-Network and influence with key stakeholders and influencers of WU projects, including but not limited to, consulting engineering companies, industry associations, Water Utility concessionaries and Department of Public Works
-Champion the Grundfos brand in the WU community to ensure high visibility and positive image, through regular and consistent participation, presentations and engagement with key stakeholders
-Key Account management of top customers to ensure continued sales growth and development
-Establish close and effective communication, relationships and processes with internal, regional and global support teams (tender documentation, engineering, application and product specialists)
-Map market coverage both by geography and sector and regularly review approach in terms of resource allocation and sales channels
-Remain up to date with the global WU product range, regularly reviewing existing and new products and adapting focus and priorities to suit market development and opportunities
-Responsible for monthly reporting of sales pipeline and activity status
-Perform any other related duties/assignments as and when directed by superior/s
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales management and experience in WU Market
-Engineering and or technical background in water utility pumping systems / products
-Strong track record in developing and leading sales teams to achieve targets
-High level of business acumen covering project development cycles, project pricing, tender process, contractual obligations and risk management
-Experience in utilizing CRM systems and or creating transparent sales pipelines
-Highly developed negotiation skills and ability to close orders
-Strong analytical capabilities in assessing projects and selecting priority areas to maximize return for effort
-Equally comfortable in front of senior management from customers and internally as well as customer engineers, contractor’s installers
-Understanding of pumping applications in the water utility market
-Strong market development capabilities. Result driven, strong responsibility and execution ability
-Fluent written and spoken English
-Strong business acumen
-Honesty and integrity to uphold the Company’s values
-Good people skills and willing to work with other teams to achieve goals of the Sales Unit
-Self-driven, able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups
-Enthusiasm and persistence in getting the job done. Willing to travel when needed
