Service Solution Specialist plays important role as a bridge between Service Engineer and Service Sales, with deep knowledge in pump application & capability in understanding technical know-how, who is accountable for customer centric service solution proposal, support Service sales in driving customer engagement by providing thought leadership in identifying and capturing service offering business opportunities.
Overall Purpose of Job:
Jointly visit customer with service sales and conduct in-depth business focused discussion to understand customer pump application, system structure, customer business requirement; identify customer operational support need and relevant pain-points;
Interpret findings, customer expectations & requirements into technical requirements;
Clearly communicate & collaborate with service technical engineers to work out technical solution and develop competitive customer service solution proposal with clear customer value propositions and deliverables;
Present service solution proposal to customer in a persuasive manner (competitive value argumentation & business case) to enable customer buy-in;
Support service sales in commercial offering development, play smart in scoping and work with SBS manager in service solution costing & pricing;
Manage service sales funnel for responsible service offerings;
Cooperate with service marketing in developing service sales tools & relevant material preparation; actively support and get involved in service sales promotional activities;
In responsible service offerings, act as regional liaison to directly interface with global service BD team and peer application & solution experts from other global regional market;
Actively collect service market intelligence, understand the value chain of the business, smart positioning and support to develop optimal regional service business development strategy;
Plan, organize and implement relevant service solution training for area service team.
Extensive pump application knowledge with sound capability in understanding technical insight
Familiar with the application of water supply systems or air conditioning system in commercial buildings; or familiar with water process in water supply/waste water treatment plant.
Deep understanding in service (service organization, standard, process etc.) & product category
Experienced in service solution support and high-level competence in service solution development, scoping, costing;
Consultative selling skill
Persuasive presentation & communication skill
Experience in bidding operation & process
Good command of English
Team work & collaboration
Preferable major in mechanical & electrical engineering, heating and ventilation engineering, water engineering or environmental engineering, bachelor degree or above;
Willing to travel
