Order Handling Team Leader



Purpose of the position


  • Ensure on-time delivery to customers of the Hungarian Distribution Center (DC)
  • Understand requirements from the market and sales companies towards DC
  • Build capabilities to match service levels of today and in the future
  • Take active part in managing DC towards an effective and valuable asset to customers and Grundfos



Tasks and responsibilities


  • Responsible for DC sales order handling and outbound transportation
  • Manage the daily work of DC Order Execution Team
  • Daily administration tasks:
  • Handling of sales orders, customers request in SAP, CIC (Grundfos communication interface)
  • Arrange transports
  • Create transportation documents
  • Ensure high quality in processes towards customers
  • Understand logistics requirements and opportunities in the markets supported by DC
  • Provide agreed service levels towards supported sales companies
  • Drive implementation of new or improved services
  • Ensure quality of outbound transportation services
  • Build capabilities in form of competences, motivation and processes to meet agreed service levels
  • Reporting




  • College or University degree (preferably in the field of Logistics)
  • Logistics, commercial or shipping related background
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office)
  • SAP Experience preferred
  • Leading skills
  • Be leader of own area of responsibility
  • Manage stakeholders
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Fluent English both written and verbal
