Compliance Controller

What do we offer?

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Compliance Controller, to ensure that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules.

 

What is the job about?

As Compliance Controller, you are responsible for ensuring adequate performance in statutory and compliance including internal controls  as well as adherence to accounting standards and inhouse policies providing guidance and consultancy to the Board and senior management. 

You will be the main contact for queries from authorities, outsourcing providers and internal controls

You have good understanding of the business processes in the entire value chain and are able to link this knowledge with financial data and information. You use this knowledge to proactively lead the statutory reporting process, including the preparation, reveiw and submission of the Statutory Financial Statement, Corporate Income Tax return and other related country specific annual reports according to the local Management. 

 

What do you need to apply?

You hold a master’s degree in Business Economics, Auditing or equivalent.

You have 3-5 years of experience in audit/accounting/taxation, working with complex business processes in a multinational and multicultural setting. It is important to us that you possess high ethical standards, just as you thrive on a healthy control environment as a prerequisite for producing timely, correct and transparent information.

You speak and write English fluently.

If you have experience with SAP, BW and IBM Cognos suites, it is an advantage.

Your manager and team-members are located in different European sites. That is the reason why this role will require some business travel within Europe.
