Senior Manager, Serviceability

In this role, you will lead a team of technical service specialist who secure that our products can be properly serviced on a global scale. You therefore step into a strategically important role where you are a cornerstone in our strategic journey ahead, adding value to our customers and end-users globally.
On top of ensuring serviceability, we are focusing on applying digital features, making our products even more advanced and introducing a whole new range of service offerings. You will therefore need to develop and take your team into the future supporting our digital service transformation,” explains Group Senior Director, Thomas Koldbæk.

Ensure serviceability across more than 100 product lines
Your main job will be to manage a team of 8 specialists whose goal it is to ensure that all new and existing products can be serviced. To do so, your team spends most of its time developing and maintaining service plans. This entails formulating all relevant information on the product life cycle, including installation, repair, frequency of service and how to change hardware. 


Also, your team applies global best practice and knowledge from the development phase into everyday service deliveries. It drives train-the-trainer programmes and provides technical training material to ensure that our service engineers and service partners know how to install and service our products. Moreover, we contribute to the product development phase where you play a key role in ensuring end-to-end serviceability as well as challenge the development teams on “designed for service".


In addition, you and your team develop, drive and maintain the global expert networks as well as a global commission team for complex solutions.


Divide your time between team and project management 
In the role as manager, you will work alongside your team, engaging in daily tasks at an operational level while you maintain the strategic overview. This gives you great insight into our processes, making sure that you can lead your team to the highest standards through motivation and guiding their tasks as well as direction-setting.


As we interact with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation, you will also be tasked with securing alignment and defining critical priorities in your team’s project portfolio.


A strong leader with good technical understanding 
Your success as a leader comes through your team. Therefore, you need the ability to deliver results through others, thus enabling your team to be productive and successful. You have a strong ability to lead by example, and you have sufficient knowledge to become a trusted sounding board for your team as well as stakeholders across the organization.


• You preferably have a technical background with a good understanding of electronics and/or mechanics. Preferable strong knowledge of best practices and systems within relevant area.
• You most likely have 5+ years of experience leading a team and managing stakeholders.
• You have experience executing strategic initiatives within a complex business environment – preferably from a large manufacturing environment.
• You have a strong ability to lead and/or influence others and drive change agendas.
