Service Coordinator

General Purpose


The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating key activities during the on-boarding and implementation process of a new service and solutions project. This will include collaborating with critical stakeholders during the surveying, installation, kickoff, and review phases of the customer success journey. The right candidate will have no trouble managing multiple projects, each at varying stages of completion, at the same time.  This position will operate out of the Aurora, IL facility.


Major Tasks


•Maintain good communications within Grundfos, with channel partners, and end users for the successful execution of service solutions projects and repairs.
•Own the process of on-boarding a new customer, from start to finish, including ensuring that all documentation is collected and communicated at the appropriate stage of the process.
•Place purchase orders and coordinate with Grundfos Service and channel partner teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
•Schedule and coordinate with our third party technology vendor for training and support.
•Work with sales and management to make sure Grundfos maintains unified communication with our distributor channel and end users.
•Manage each end user account in coordination with sales and assume responsibility for continuous value delivery along with monthly/quarterly ROI reviews.
•Invoice customers for all service solutions projects.
•Constantly search for better, more efficient ways of completing projects.
•Additional duties and tasks as assigned


Required Education & Qualifications


Qualified candidates should have a 4 year college degree, or equivalent experience along with 5+ years in project management and/or coordination.

•Experience working in environment with technical and digital products
•Experience in managing multiple stakeholders within complex projects
•Ability to learn processes and adapt quickly for each project
•Ability to manage time effectively
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
•Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on constant communication
•Previous ERP business system experience, such as SAP, a strong plus
•General understanding of digital enablement & machine learning a plus
•Ability to work and collaborate in a team setting
