Global Technical Key Account Manager

Job Summary

 

As Global TKAM you will pair up with the MIBC Key Account Managers (KAMs) in our team to serve the customers’ technical interfaces, typical R&D, Project management, Quality, Test and Specification functions. The goal is to ensure Grundfos is continuously engaged in the customers’ specification and road mapping activities, and through a close customer collaboration providing the best on most competitive pump solution to their applications. Your technical expertise and customer support makes Grundfos the obvious choice and preferred advisor for our Group key account customers.
Internally you leverage your network to ensure our group key account customers are getting the best possible technical service from Grundfos, including product testing, documentation and product samples & variants (CSU)
 
Joining the Grundfos MIBC team - you will work alongside 3 passionate top professional MIBC KAM’s.

Your KAM colleagues are based in Asia, Europe and USA, where they work from one of our offices or from home. You and the KAM’s collaborate seamlessly with local sales and application colleagues who serve the customer’s local branches on daily basis, and together we become an integrated part of the customer’s, sourcing, development and supply chain ecosystem.

 

 

Key Activities

 

Proactively working with customers current and future needs i.e.
-Establish customer road mapping – Insights
-Finding opportunities to do differentiations using digital and control solutions
-Coordinate FPV sampling and ramp up of new offerings
-Ensure customers access to documentation and information (Online and offline)
-Prepare New Product Introductions, version changes, upgrades etc. 
-Regular customer specific training and assessment of our product offerings
-Relationship management with customers key technical staff, wherever they are located
-Drive technical actions for the MIBC KAM’s
-In case of service needs, facilitate support from Grundfos Service team (Service Key Account manager)
-Overall market needs - new products, applications, needs i.e. New product introductions & Engineering
-New business opportunities – materialize new business opportunities i.e. new applications
-Collaboration with business developers in the market segments
-Market intelligence – Market knowledge, customers, competitors, application & market trends
-Product and application development towards specific or future customer needs. I.e. I.O.T., digital offerings

 

What do you need to apply?

 

-Proven track record of working as TKAM and/or handing OEM customers
-Technical experience in digital/controls/electrical machines and/or industrial communication
-Minimum 8 years of working experience in providing technical support to customers at all levels
-Ability to work under pressure situations
-Strong Bias for great customer experiences: Engage the customer in developing their understanding
for Grundfos offerings and knowledge of what customer needs/expectations
-High Ownership: Follows through to ensure customer success
-Analytical Skills: Effectively analyse and interpret information, identifying & validating the key facts,
including reviewing alternatives to determine advantages and associated risks
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language. Chinese or Japanese
languages will be an added advantage but not must
-Ability to think and act independently within a fast-paced matrix organization

Qualification

 

-Bachelor or Master’s education in electrical/electronic/control engineering or similar
