The role is based in Bjerringbro or Brøndby, Denmark and is part of a collaborative, agile and international team. We are looking for an experienced partnership and project development professional.

We’re in pursuit of the silver lining of a bold, audacious target of making good business of bringing drinking water to millions of people who have limited or no access to sustainable water services today.
The Partnership development manager is part of a cross-functional team focused on co-creation and shared value and to conceptualise, develop and operationalize projects in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders. The purpose of this job is to bring projects to the finish line. This includes negotiation, coordination and management of often complex partnerships, from finance to project design and on-the-ground implementation, ensuring positive and sustainable impact in commercially viable business models.
Your job takes visions to the tap you can turn
- Follow-up on leads and move from concept to development of concrete project.
- Identify and fill additional partners and project gaps.
- Mature projects to closure.
- Follow-up and manage successfully funded co-creation projects.
This is a position with extremely complex stakeholder management at a global level, both internally and externally. Managing these relations and making the right decisions and understanding the trade-offs when it comes to approach, roles and responsibilities in specific projects – will be key to success.
What do you need to apply?
Most likely, you have a bachelor’s degree or similar. 8+ years of proven track record with complex global projects is a must, along with deep commercial understanding of new business models, strategic partnerships and stakeholder management and project management. An in-depth understanding of the Grundfos product offering is an advantage.
You have worked in an international environment, speak, read and write English fluently and have a mindset to corporate across functions and geography. Skype calls is your best friend and you enjoy building personal relations across the distance, but also ready to travel about 6-8 weeks per year primarily to countries in Africa, Asia and South America. We are trial and error team – you must be ready to prioritise, cope with risk and failure, and able to motivate yourself and the team towards the next opportunity. Excellent communication and project management skills with an attention to detail is a must.
