The role is based in Bjerringbro or Brøndby, Denmark and is part of a collaborative, agile and international team. We are looking for an experienced global people network developer.
Be part of stretching for bold, audacious targets
We’re in pursuit of the silver lining of a bold, audacious target of making good business of bringing drinking water to millions of people who have limited or no access to sustainable water services today.
The network manager is part of a cross-functional team with an ambition to build an internal and external ‘hub-and-spoke’ organisation. There is a significant amount of work for the next many years in building and systematically driving the network, leaving a team tasked with the development of processes and procedures, learning loops and deep engagement with a wide network of stakeholders.
Your job is a passion for followers
- Conceptualise, develop and implement a “hub and spoke” shared value network internally and externally in Grundfos, including planning and execution of workshops, kick off events, physical meetings, Skype meetings, intranet portal, Yammer/newsletters etc. as tools.
- Drive specific bids and projects in the network – in close collaboration with other teams in Grundfos Lifelink. This includes planning, communicating with involved parties, coaching and assisting where relevant, performance follow up, customer issues and complaints.
- Continous improvement programme.
The Network manager will administratively line manage three people in an agile organisation, where each prioritises tasks and responsibilities within their cross-functional team, not the line manager.
What do you need to apply?
Most likely, you have a bachelor’s degree or similar. For this position, deep understanding and significant experience of global commercial network development is a must, online, across geographies and cultures. No less than 5+ years of experience of doing business within B2B areas/industries and sharp commercial understanding is needed to be successful, as is the ability to with challenging deadlines.
You have worked in an international environment, speak, read and write English fluently and have a mindset to corporate across functions and geography. Skype calls is your best friend and you enjoy building personal relations across the distance, but also ready to travel about 8-10 weeks per year primarily to countries in Africa, Asia and South America. We are trial and error team – you must be ready to prioritise, cope with risk and failure, and able to motivate yourself and the team towards the next opportunity. Excellent communication and project management skills with an attention to detail is a must.
