You will be based in Bjerringbro, Denmark and join Electronic Development within Product and Offerings Development. We are responsible for developing sensors, software, electronics and mechanical housings for all Grundfos products. Here, you will get to work with several skilled and dedicated engineers with either sensor, mechanical or electronic expertise focusing on cross-functional mechatronic solutions.
You report to Senior Manager Henning Nørregaard Jensen:
“You will join a successful global company where you will get to work with the latest technology. Here, you will collaborate with skilled specialists and can further develop your skills,” Henning says.
What is the job about?
As Sensor Developer, you will work in all phases of the development projects from early idea to testing and validation of the final product with focus on sensors and integration in the products. Your main area of responsibility will be development and integration of sensor solutions e.g. temperature, pressure, flow, vibration.
We are working project-based environment, where you will join one of our project teams together with developers from other disciplines.
As increased digitalization of our offerings is a key element of Grundfos Strategy the sensors will be a key element going forward. We see an increased requests of sensor solutions in our development activities thus, you will enter an area with large focus and strategic importance.
“In this position, a key challenge will be to create an optimal design which meets our high-quality standards and at the same time is cost effective,” Henning says.
What do you need to apply?

•Preferably you have experience with programming tools like C/C#, MATLAB/python or similar.
•You have experience with design of hardware design of analogue and digital measurement circuits for harsh environment (temperature, vibration, moist) and with tough constrains on the physical space.
And on profile with mechanical background:
•You have simulation experience (e.g. Ansys, structural simulations) and use simulations as natural tool during the development work
•You have experience on design of moist and thermal issues.
•You design parts in composite and stainless steel based a structured design process, with high focus on quality and design for manufacturing in high volume.
•You have knowledge of shielding of electronics by use of gel, epoxy or similar.
Finally, you speak and write English at a high level.
