Project Sales Manager Water Treatment (m/f/x)

For our Sales and Business Development Team in Pfinztal / Germany we are currently looking for a

Project Sales Manager Water Treatment (m/f/x)



Your responsibilities:


As a part of the Sales & Business Development team you will become an expert (m/f/x) in Water Treatment Applications for Water Utilites and the Grundfos products that serve this market.


You will take responsibility for projects from the early stages of the sales process until award of the contract, in close collaboration with local Grundfos companies, partners and consultants.


This includes quotation development for complex solution proposals for drinking water and waste water treatment based on dosing and disinfection systems produced by Grundfos.


Taking over this position you will develop business in existing markets and create new business in areas where opportunities are identified. Business trips will take you to our clients (e.g. contractors or consulting engineers) mainly in France, Spain, Portugal and Benelux.


Additionally, you will build application knowledge in local teams through training, support and best practice sharing. In cases that are escalated you will support local sales and service staff with your application and product knowledge.


As a part of your job you will also attend / support local conferences and tradeshows as guest speaker and industry expert.     


Your qualifications & skills:


  • Degree in process engineering/mechanical engineering or a chemical / biological education background or comparable; Good sales and business acumen (m/f/x).
  • Several years of relevant international experience in plant engineering, preferably in the field of hydraulics and/or chemical dosing with a proven record of sales success.
  • Experience with project sales into the municipal market is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel, flexibility and intercultural collaboration.
  • An excellent command of English. Additional language skills are valued.
  • Excellent team leadership and communication skills. Self-motivated and capable of working very independently.
