Senior Technical Project Manager, R&D

Would you like to lead technical challenging projects and have a significant role in the next generation of innovative Grundfos pump solutions?

 

As part of our global R&D organization, you will join a group of highly competent, technical project managers in Electronic Development. You will manage development projects of future Grundfos products and offerings and help tackle the world’s climate challenges.

 

We are responsible for developing the next generation of Grundfos products and solutions within the electronics area. As our new technical project manager, you manage a team of skilled and dedicated engineers and interact with a high number of stakeholders across the organisation to deliver with success the desired outcome of the project.

We use traditional stage gate models combined with agile approaches to match the nature of each project in the best possible manner. What is the job about?
As increased digitalisation of our offerings is a key element of Grundfos strategy, the nature of our development projects is changing. A change from development of electronic, controlled pumps towards more digital offerings where the pump is an element in an eco-system including apps and cloud-based solutions.

 

You will have full technical project management responsibility of 1-2 projects, normally with a duration of 1-2 years each. You will follow each project from idea to production and early market feedback. Doing so, you will:

 

• Manage all the technical aspects of the project with high focus on completion of benefits, time, risk, cost, quality and scope as well
• Take ownership of the technical solution(s) securing that it is supporting the product requirements and the design supports optimal implementation in the full value chain.
• Participate in Grundfos R&D project management network to share knowledge and drive excellence of our project management capabilities.

 

The job will include 10-15 travel days a year.

 

What do you need to apply?
We are looking for a strong and an agile technical project manager. We imagine that you:

 

• Have solid experience with technical project management and a proven track record of managing larger projects
• Have great stakeholder management skills on all levels.
• Have good experience with agile as well as stage gate methodologies and are ready to take part in driving our ongoing change toward agile project management
• You have the personal drive it takes to act as a role model for all project participants and to facilitate high-performance teamwork.
• Ideally, you have experience working within the domain of electronics, software and IoT.
• Have a technical background, minimum a bachelor’s degree, e.g. in engineering.
• Speak and write English fluently
