Application Specialist

Purpose of job

Apply subject matter knowledge and demonstrate technical/business insight. Work within an unit and/or across functional areas with limited supervision.

Key Activities

- Technical backup for local or regional front offices in all 7 steps of selling.- Technical support to project sales and customer interactions, events etc.- Add technical know-how to selling solutions, services and add extra customer value to the local business.- Develop new local solutions through product understanding, local context and customer needs.- Produce local content to the product and application knowledge hub.- Act as Train the Trainer locally and contribute to growing the global application capability.- Participate in subject matter expert networks or regional master minds network.- Local collaboration with sales, services and external partners.- Bring application knowledge into regional or local product development or other development activities etc.

Critical knowledge and experience

- Experience driving developed processes within Regional business development, services or technical developments.
- Ability to lead processes or projects.
- Ability to lead a business process on a regional level.
- Most likely to have 3-4 years of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education.

- Solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities within the functional area in customer development, services or technical project managements.
- Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable, for the business or technology development, Services, Facility Management or consultant areas.
