Engineer, Front Office

Job Summary

To act as first point of customer contact via phone, fax and email. Ensure quality customer service level with quick response time and understanding customer needs. To also support sales and application engineers in preparation of relevant business documents.

Key Activities

-Handle incoming calls within the defined Service Level Agreement (Type of calls depends on phone routing)

-Identify Account – if not recognized via CRM Telephony Integration, front office manager to decide if this account is to be follow up by external sales or dealer.

-Through a line of questions quickly identify the customer needs, gather required information and formalize the request within SAP CRM 1Office system

-Ensure immediate action by solving the request, create a RFQ for later follow up or assign more complex RFQ to 1 Office Leader

-Manage the list ‘My RFQs’ in CRM and release follow up on Quotations to external sales

-Apply standard discounts, offers and pricing conditions according to defined sales policy or QAW set up
-Advice standard product leadtime to customer

-Handle general price enquiry

-Update Customer Master Data (Contact Person)

-Prepare quotations, costing and tender submittal documents for projects

-Any other ad hoc tasks assigned

Skills, Experience and Desirable Attributes

-Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing
-At least 1-2 years’ experience in customer service frontline
-Candidate who have experience in SAP-CRM and ECC 6.0 are preferred
-Being able to understand customer request well
-Effective communication skill and flexibility in handling different customer profiles
