We offer a unique opportunity to work globally with the sales processes, tools and capabilities of the future sales organization in Grundfos.
Working across cultures, you get to make a real difference for our commercial excellence approach in a market leading, global company. You join the Group Marketing & Sales Development department responsible for developing the key customer touch points in the organisation.
In the Commercial Excellence team, we look at how to handle our customers in terms of people processes and tools in order to optimise the sales organisation and become a truly customer centric organisation. You join a team of 19 colleagues who work with global projects at different levels of the organisation, and you become part of a performance-oriented culture and a great collegial atmosphere.
You will join one of Denmark’s most successful companies driven by innovation, sustainability and high ambitions. At Grundfos, we pioneer solutions to the world’s water and climate challenges and improve quality of life for people. Concretely, we develop, produce and sell some of the world’s most efficient and energy saving pumps and water technologies across the world, bringing heat to the homes of 500 million people and bringing water to almost 1 billion across the globe. We help our customers save precious natural resources and reduce climate impact. That among other things calls for a strong global sales team understanding and delivering true customer value.
What is the job about?
You will be responsible for developing, implementing and driving large projects in the Grundfos sales organisation. This includes analysis and identification as well as concept development. With more than 60 sales companies around the world, your work takes a truly global scope and requires that you master your sales excellence toolbox and can implement it across different cultures and markets. Our ambition is to be “Industry Best in Customer Interactions” and we strive to continuously develop and adjust the Grundfos sales processes to support this.
You ensure collaboration with key stakeholders in Sales, IT, Supply Chain, Marketing and Segments and further implementation across all Grundfos sales regions, making sure projects meet or exceed the set objectives and create real value for our customers. Furthermore, you help develop and support general Sales Excellence initiatives through training and dedicated support initiatives. In doing so, you partner with other group and regional stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop projects according to defined success criteria.
“Being the senior project manager, you provide your expertise and support to the sales organisation through close collaboration with a regional network of colleagues. Your challenge in this is to drive projects through a global matrix organisation to create value across countries, time zone and departments”, says Group Senior Director, Jacob Fibiger Jensen.
You will work with:
- Sales Excellence (external sales processes, sales tools e.g. CRM, dashboards), including pipeline, opportunity and account management processes
- Value based selling and how to bridge the collaboration with marketing (value messaging) and business development (value offerings)
- Workshop development and facilitation
- Project management of global projects in the sales organization
Expected travel per year is 30-50 days.
What do you need to apply?
Preferably, you hold a master’s degree in business administration combined with solid experience and a proven track record working with project management and driving strategic projects in a global organisation. Touching upon change management, perhaps you have previously rolled out a value based selling or sales excellence project, and you have business and financial acumen – preferably through previous sales experience. You know how to put commercial excellence in the context of the customer to ensure added value for our customers.
Furthermore, you have an international outlook and you speak and write English fluently. You are ambitious in your intention to add value to our company; realise our vision and you are willing to learn.
“On a personal level, you are performance-driven. You know how to drive change and love seeing the results. Being a strong communicator, you drive progress through many different stakeholders globally and know how to work with your network and with your team colleagues”, finishes Jacob.
