Would you like a brand-new position where you contribute to a sustainable production of protein by building up our new business area, fish farming? And do you want to work in an international environment across sales companies, countries and clients, within an area undergoing massive development?
“More and more fish are actually produced on shore. So there is a great future in going out to the world with sustainable pump solutions,” explains Nordic Area Sales Director, Industry, Thomas Vestli.
A whole new business area
You will be located in Oslo and be a part of our Industry division, where we have 25+ years of experience delivering pumps for fish farming. Now, we are building a fish farming business area across countries to focus our efforts on our clients – the owners, designers, system builders and OEM's to this business area – and to better support our sales companies.
“Our aim is to position Grundfos as the primary supplier of pumps for fish farming, and you will be a key player in making this happen,” explains Thomas.
Help put Grundfos on the map within fish farming
Ocean fishing is still a massive industry. But stocks are declining. With new land based systems – and Grundfos pumps – we can contribute to a more efficient and sustainable production of fish. Actually, we have done that for years. The difference is that we now want our customers to be aware of the benefits of our products, and to choose Grundfos as the preferred supplier on the market.
Thus, you will be responsible for coordinating our largest projects in terms of new products and applications in collaboration with Product Management, Operations and our sales companies. Moreover, you will either lead or support the bid process for projects for our top 10 end users and key system integrators as well as new fish segments. Specifically, you will:
- Build application know-how and best practice value proposition on all key processes in our current and future offerings
- Develop bid material and documentation to be used across involved Grundfos companies
- Secure internal coordination and alignment with Supply Chain and Product Management
“The whole market is changing. Now that fish can be farmed on land, we want our clients to make a conscious choice and pick our products for sustainable aquaculture,” says Thomas.
You are not just another fish in the sea
In fact, in this highly independent role, you are the one to ensure that we deliver strong bids, documentation and ultimately products – and oftentimes, you will do so by enabling others to perform. To succeed, we imagine that you:
- Have several years of experience with fish farming/water treatment end users or electro-mechanical suppliers
- Are an experienced bid/project leader
- Have previously had success in a matrix role and organization
- Are fluent in English and one Scandinavian language
We look forward to hearing from you.
