Regional Senior Commercial Excellence Manager

Purpose of job

The Commercial Excellence Manager is driving the service transformation programme within Asia Pacific Region and hereby supports the Regional Service Director in heading the execution of Grundfos must win- battles in the Grundfos Service strategy.

Key activities

-Formulate and execute various strategic commercial excellence projects in the service area and subsequently follow up on project progress
-Take active part in defining and scoping strategic commercial excellence projects in close collaboration with the Regional Service Director as well as key stakeholders in the
service organisations
-Support commercial excellence projects (e.g. commercializing service implementation,commercial excellence roll-out in local service markets, SAP CS, lead generation and
mobility tools, commercial and technical training, organisational improvement projects)
-Strategically plans direction for areas of responsibility. Captures the strategic intent of key stakeholders to identify future directions and plan necessary changes
-Drive cross-company improvement programmes in the region within the commercial area (e.g. installed base projects, standard reporting templates)
-Provide inputs and execute on Authorised Service Partner and marketing programmes in the region
-Supports strategic and operational development planning and decision making by providing valuable commercial advice and analysis
-Manage key stakeholders across the service and sales organisations required to execute strategic projects effectively
-Provide leadership to the commercial excellence team, establishing commercial processes and proceduress to meet service objectives in the region
-Makes insightful, timely decisions in complex situations that have broad impact across the region
-Analyses sales and other reports that give insights into how each company in the region can make adjustments to improve performance
-Contribute to identifying competitor insights and opportunities within Service - in close collaboration with local markets
Prepare presentations and decision material for regional service leadership team incl. strategy reviews, business cases etc.
-Support the Regional Service Director in the annual planning wheel in Asia Pacific Region (strategic planning and reviews, budget preparations, regional meetings etc.)
-Part of the Regional Service Management team
-Willingness to travel 10-20% in the region when required

 

Skills and Experience

-Master Degree / Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or similar
-At least 5 years of experience in the area of commercial excellence, strategy planning or business development with exposure to senior management and working cross-functionally
-Proven track record in scoping and driving complex projects within the commercial/strategic area

Desirable Attributes

-Strong commercial understanding and analytical skills
-Ability to maintain an overview of project tasks and deliverables as well as planning and prioritising to ensure suitable measures are taken when driving multiple projects simultaneously
-Ability to communicate in a clear and structured manner both written and orally
-Organisational savviness, i.e. the abilíty to interact with, motivate and influence people cross-functionally in a collaborative and solution-oriented manner
-High standards for work performance, execution and follow up on delegated tasks and decisions to the satisfaction of relevant stakeholders
