Senior Manager to take the lead on Social Media in Grundfos

You will be part of our Branding department consisting of highly skilled colleagues within brand, design and digital media. We are responsible for the global brand strategy, the Grundfos brand and design manual and brand activations such as sponsorships and campaigns, and social media play an increasingly important role in this.

Our new social media manager will collaborate with digital media and communication colleagues to realise the full potential of our social media channels and ensure that we stay updated on trends and new channels,” says Senior Brand Director Gitte Kirkeby Søe.

You will also be part of an extended management team with senior leaders within marketing, web, digital tools, etc., and you will work in close collaboration with our global marketing and communication network as the team you head is a global centre of excellence that supports the whole organization.


Set the global direction for social media
Previously, there was no clear ownership of social media in Grundfos, and the quality and impact of our activities has varied.

As a senior manager, you will have the ownership of social media in Grundfos. Thus, you will be responsible for setting the direction across the whole Grundfos organization and supporting our marketing organization and securing an effective implementation in close collaboration with digital media colleagues and internal stakeholders.

We have analyses on how to take better and more efficiently advantage of social media, so you will contribute to this with your experience and be responsible for developing and implementing this. This also entails developing and implementing a social media channel strategy, guidelines, a tone of voice, community management and governance that reach across local entities. 

Moreover, you will:

  • Collaborate with digital media colleagues to secure an optimal digital journey across digital touch points and optimise the return on media spend
  • Manage and spearhead employee advocacy in collaboration with HR and Communication
  • Build relations to key internal stakeholders for an effective development and deployment of activities

Essentially, you will be a role model and uniting figure when understanding local needs and creating an impactful, united social media experience across platforms,” explains Gitte. 

Social media mastermind with great stakeholder management skills
On a personal level, you have an entrepreneurial mindset and an eye for opportunities when it comes to developing our social media presence. You are a customer-oriented brand ambassador who knows how to create strong collaboration and is persistent in the drive for change. 

Using your stakeholder management skills, you balance collaboration and networking with decision-making and actions, setting a united direction based on insights and facts to secure a solid base for development. Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have a master’s degree within new media, marketing, communication or similar 
  • Have in-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with social media management in an international context
  • Perhaps have experience from a media agency and/or international marketing function
  • Are fluent in English
