American visit focusing on water and energy

Water and energy are in demand. Also in the United States. Long drought periods have grown the willingness to find and use efficient water solutions, while high energy prices in some states have intensified the search for energy efficient solutions for e.g. water-distribution and wastewater-treatment. This means new opportunities for water technology-companies, including Grundfos.

The possibility of getting more thrust to the Danish export of water technology to the US was part of the reason behind the Danish Ambassador to the United States, Lars Gert Lose, visiting Grundfos in Bjerringbro. Here he, among others, met with our new Regional Managing Director for Americas, Dieter Sauer, and Group Executive Vice President Poul Due Jensen, in order to gather more knowledge about our technology and gain insights to how we drive our American business.

“A modern embassy spends a lot of time supporting and promoting export. Grundfos is a large stakeholder, which has many solutions for drinkingwater and wastewater, which are very interesting business areas in the US. We also believe that district heating can be important here. Grundfos can offer knowledge and solutions for this area, too,” said Lars Gert Lose.

It was the Danish ambassador’s first visit at Grundfos headquarters in Bjerringbro.
