Grundfos appoints new Group Executive Vice President for Business Development

Ernst Lutz is a mechanical engineer and has a Ph.D. from Virginia Tech and an Executive MBA. He has thorough knowledge about the pump industry and deep experience with innovation, technology and engineering.

"Ernst Lutz knows our industry from within, and has a deep experience with innovating new, customer-focused technologies. He is a truly global leader focused on people, technology and making a real difference. I am very happy to have Ernst on the team," says CEO Mads Nipper.

Ernst Lutz comes from a position as CEO for EIT RawMaterials. Previously, he has held key positions in the Sulzer Group, latest as Chief Technology Officer, CTO. Prior to that, employment in Rio Tinto Alcan, Alcan and Alusuisse brought him to Shanghai and Paris, among other places, where he has had the responsibility for technology and development in different positions.
