New man on top of Grundfos Americas

The new Regional Managing Director for Grundfos Americas has been appointed. The new head of our business in North and South America is Dieter Sauer. He comes from a position as President of Grundfos Water Utility.

Dieter Sauer holds extensive experience from the pump industry with more than 20 years in the business. He has held roles of increasing responsibility at IDEX Corporation, including Vice President and General Manager of Corken Incorporated, President of Pulsafeeder Engineered Products, and most recently as President of Grundfos Water Utility, formerly YCC, the Grundfos-owned Water Utility Company based in Aurora in the US.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

In his new position, Dieter Sauer will stay based in the Chicago-area, as he will be based at Grundfos Americas HQ in Downers Grove.
