Danish Solutions gathered in Shandong, China

This was recently experienced by over 300 participants from e.g. local government agencies, utility companies and energy companies.

Mr. Cai Limin, Deputy Governor of Shandong province and Mr. Jeppe Tranholm-Mikkelsen, Danish Ambassador to China also attended the event.

Mr. Humphrey Lau, CEO of Grundfos China, expressed that Grundfos is fully committed to supporting China’s greening efforts and willing to share Grundfos experiences with Chinese counterparts in building energy efficiency, waste water treatment, district heating etc.

As one of the sponsors of the event, Grundfos specialists made presentations in three of six individual sessions held in the afternoon on topics ranging from district heating, building energy efficiency to waste water treatment.

Green Shandong is part of an on-going Green China Initiative by the Danish Embassy in Beijing. This initiative supported by the Danish business community in China is designed to showcase Danish technologies as well as support China’s go ‘green’ efforts. Last year, Green Hangzhou was held in Zhejiang province and the location for the next Green China program for 2010 is yet to be determined.
