Grundfos appoints Lone Tvis new head for HR

Lone Tvis comes from a successful 19-year career within large international companies such as Arla Foods and Danfoss.

She will be replacing Henrik M. Christiansen, who will be leaving Grundfos at the end of April. Lone Tvis will be joining Grundfos after the summer holiday and will be part of the Group Management Team and Extended Leadership Team

“In order to continue our journey and further develop Grundfos, we need to build and continuously develop a strong organisation with a culture of being true innovators and team players. We are already well down the road with our HR transformation, and I look forward to having Lone continue and further strengthen this important effort with the rest of the HR team. And not least have her join the Group Management team, where I am convinced that she with her vast international experience will make great contributions,” says Mads Nipper CEO & Group President.

Lone Tvis joins from Arla Foods, where she over a period of 9 years has held several positions as HR Vice President, most recently for Global Supply Chain and previously for Consumer Central Europe and Global Categories and Operations.

During her career at Arla Foods she has, most recently, been involved in building one global supply chain organisation, besides the ongoing globalisation of the company with emphasis on integration of new businesses, implementation of new strategies and practices and strengthening of people and performances.

“I am very excited to be joining Grundfos. Not only is Grundfos an industry leader, offering innovative solutions to some of our planets most pressing issues. It is also an impressive organisation with a rich history, building on strong values and driven by passionate people to be a force for good in a globalised and growing world,” says Lone Tvis.

Lone Tvis holds a master’s in Social Sciences from the University of Aarhus and a diploma in Business Administration from Aarhus School of Business. She has supplemented her studies attending the Master Programme in European Human Resources Management.

As of May 1, Dennis Munk Bartholomæussen, Senior Director, will serve as interim head for Group HR until Lone Tvis will start in her new position.
