Grundfos Challenge 2007

Under the designation Grundfos Challenge, Grundfos in April last year entered into an unknown territory to strengthen the cooperation with the higher educational institutions and at the same time offered the students a unique insight into the professional career opportunities of a big, international group. Grundfos has repeated this absolute success from 11 to 16 March this year.

Technology of another world
Students from the best Danish educational institutions are invited to the group’s internal training academy, The Poul Due Jensen Academy. The background of the concrete task is that Grundfos must use and protect its innovation to create a long-term competitive advantage through among other things ground-breaking innovation in technology, organisation and marketing.

Knowledge in play
Exactly like last year the headline of Grundfos Challenge is innovation, communication, talent and teamwork. To support the challenge in the best possible way Grundfos will place a big professional network at the students’ disposal during the competition. The culmination of the week will be the announcement of the winners. Each winning team will receive Dkr. 75,000, and the winning educational institutions will receive a Grundfos Challenge Trophy and a DKK 50,000 Grundfos grant to be awarded at a purpose of their choice. Furthermore an Innovation Prize of Dkr. 15,000 will be awarded.

A number of top executives of Danish trade and industry and R&D will evaluate the solutions.
