Grundfos returns to the handball arenas

The Men’s Handball World Championship is almost ready to pack the Spanish arenas with spectators and gain the attention of millions of television viewers.

Again, Grundfos will play a part throughout the tournament, which is held from 11. to 27. January. Among other things with the almost classical blue clapping fans that make sure to bring atmosphere into the arenas, but also with a newly developed App.

It has been developed in cooperation with The International Handball Federation and offers users an opportunity of following the games live and checking the standings in the tables – as well as reading news and watching interviews of players and coaches.

- We have decided to do this, because we want to get even closer to the millions of handball fans and potential Grundfos-users out there. It is not enough merely to be visible on the barriers and various materials on court. Via the App and other initiatives, we try to move the users to the digital platforms, where they can gather information on Grundfos, finding out who we are. We are deliberately trying to increase the degree of knowledge surrounding our brand via the digital opportunities, we can use, Sponsor and Event Manager, Anette Stubkjær says.
