GZA switches on first locally assembled multi-S booster set

“This has been a team combination of many hours of focus, drive, dedication and determination to bring this project to reality” reflects GZA General Manager, Jonathan Hamp-Adams.

As the African market opens up, it offers many booster sales opportunities as there is often a shortage of pressure in the municipal system. We have even begun to see the trend where, due to the increase in number of houses and buildings and an aging recirculation system, the traditionally high supply pressures are being reduced.

The local assembly opportunity was identified about 12 months ago, the objective being to utilise the local assembly flexibility and to gain market share. Having the capacity in place to run our own assembly programme, will mean that we will be able to deliver a Grundfos quality approved product to the market, along with all the relevant after sale warranties and service.
