Kim Nøhr Skibsted talks water and sustainability at US Congress

Wednesday, Kim Nøhr Skibsted had the ears some of the most influential American politicians. The members of Congress.

He took the opportunity to create more awareness of the issues faced concerning water, give focus to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and touched upon how Grundfos can help tackle the challenges faced in the US and the World.

“There are several issues to address. One of the important things to handle is to create awareness of the fact that businesses, politicians and private organizations must act together to handle them. We are happy to help move the spotlight to some of the issues we are facing concerning for instance water. This is important not only in an environmental and sustainable sense, but also in order to drive business and prosperity,” says Kim Nøhr Skibsted.

There was also time to underline the joint history that Grundfos has with the United States. A country in which our founder Poul Due Jensen opened business more than 40 years ago and build himself a home, and which to this day continues to play an important part in our global business as a center of sales, production and research and development alike.
