Unleashing the talents

Top talent from the academic and business spheres were busy at work finding new ways of reaching the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) during a ten day fully packed
innovation lab in Denmark. Each SDG represented a track, and Grundfos hosted and sponsored the water track, which brought more than 120 of the future stars to Bjerringbro.

Here they worked hard on finding innovative solutions to their water cases, and they got the opportunity to get acquainted with Grundfos-technology, -business models and -ambitions.

This included an introduction to solutions like the AQtap, BioBooster and SQflex, as well as a deeper insight in what it means to be a water technology company. Something, which made an impression on the participants:

“The involvement of Grundfos in linked markets, as opposed to the core business of pumps, I found that very progressive,” says Matthew Davey from South Africa, who was one of the participants in the UNLEASH Innovation Lab 2017.

The event concluded in Aarhus on Monday 21 August, where the very best cases from each track were awarded.
