Widest programme range ever presented at ISH

More than 2,400 exhibitors from more than 50 countries are going to compete for the audience’s attention as the news of the year within the water and energy trade, are presented at the ISH fair from 10 March. The opportunity for having our abilities evaluated in comparison to the competitors’ is a key motivator for Grundfos for presenting our updated product range at ISH.

“The trade fair gives the guests a chance to assess our products and at the same time check for better alternatives, and I am convinced that they will realise that we are the best choice for them. You see, at our stall we are going to demonstrate that we are able to both invent new and innovative solutions while at the same time keeping on refining our technologies and products down to the smallest details”, says Kim Jensen, Regional Managing Director for the European sales region.

New app will help the installer
Among other things, Grundfos has presented a new version of the circulator ALPHA2 for one- and two family homes. The pump with the lowest energy consumption in its class has been equipped with a number of new features, which above all concentrates on making it even more reliable. A quick vibration, loosening impurities from the water, for instance now prevents starting problems caused by long periods of downtime. A so-called ALPHA Reader has been developed for the new ALPHA2. Together with a Grundfos GO app for smartphones, it makes it easy for the installer to document that circulation of water in smaller heating systems is being regulated according to the actual need. Hydraulic balancing, which it is called, is to prevent the ALPHA2 pumps in the system of consuming more energy than necessary.

Widest programme in the market
Also the newest version of the MAGNA3 circulator, which is primarily used in larger heating, cooling and air-conditioning systems, are being launched at the fair. It features yet another way of regulating its performance depending on the heating or cooling demand, an improved construction and updated software. With 45 types and more than 220 models, the extended MAGNA3 programme is now the broadest of its kind in the market.

According to Kim Jensen, the intention of launching the many different Grundfos solutions at ISH is letting the guests experience how Grundfos measures up to the fair’s motto; Comfort meets Technology.

“When we develop our products, we put great emphasis on making technology, comfort and value form a synthesis. By letting the customers get close to us and our products, I expect that we can convince them that we live up to our ambitions”, he says.
