Prevention of Modern Slavery 2018

In 2018, we conducted human rights impact assessments in India and Serbia, with a view to pilot assessments of service providers in China in 2019. Further, all employees in our purchasing department were trained on to deal with common challenges suppliers face as they strive to meet requirements outlined in our recently updated Supplier Code of Conduct.

We conducted a pilot onsite human rights impact assessment (HRIA) of one of our facilities in China and significantly increased the number of supplier sustainability audits from 15 in 2016 to 97 in 2017.

One of our initiatives in 2016 was to train a group of employees in China, Denmark, India, Mexico and Russia in the basics of Human Rights.
