Grundfos’ groundbreaking Installer events have proved an outstanding success in the UAE, with the region’s first two events, held in Sharjah and Dubai, hosted almost double the expected number of attendees.
The two morning events, organised in conjunction with local Grundfos partner, M.A.H.Y Khoory, highlighted the exceptional demand that exists for education and hands-on training on domestic pumping systems, attracting more than 100 local plumbers.
The events followed a similar format, with a short presentation on the latest domestic pumps, focusing on key features and correct installation method, followed by hands-on opportunities and an interactive Q&A session, during which the events really came to life.
Throughout the events, presenters created a relaxed atmosphere which encouraged engagement by the installers who were keen to ask questions and share their challenges.
The events were wrapped up with a raffle draw before lunch, where installers were able to win a range of exciting prizes, which offered an opportunity to network with local teams from Grundfos and M.A.H.Y Khoory on a one-to-one basis.
The events will now provide a template for a busy programme of similar events throughout the UAE during 2018, and have already created a talking point in the market.
