As part of its ongoing focus on the domestic pump market, Grundfos is running a
major promotion across the UAE, designed to build sales of its key domestic
range in the run-up to the winter period.
Throughout October and November, as well as incentives for merchants and their sales teams, all customers purchasing one of five Grundfos domestic pump products from participating dealers will be invited to take part in a scratch card promotion, with exciting prizes on offer, including gold coins, mobile phones and branded merchandise.
Designed to increase awareness and sales of the company’s pump range amongst end-users,including plumbers and home-owners, the campaign is centred around five of the most popular domestic pumps – the Grundfos PM1, designed to ensure constant pressure in domestic water supply systems, as demand fluctuates; the Grundfos CM5, a booster to overcome low pressure supply; the Grundfos Unilift CC, a submersible used in drainage and waste water systems; the Grundfos JPC, a popular jet pump used in a range of domestic applications and the Grundfos SB, a submersible booster for clean water systems.
Sales of the participating pumps will be targeted, with incentives for both merchants and members of their sales teams who achieve set levels of sales.
As well as handing our prizes to the lucky winners, the promotion will also help to capture information on domestic pump customers, to help merchants target future promotions and offers.
Kostas Poulopoulos, Grundfos’ Dubai General Manager, explained “Water is one of the Middle East’s most precious and scarce commodities. Almost half of the water we use in UAE is for domestic use, so it’s essential that homeowners use it efficiently with minimum waste – and the latest generation of domestic pumps are designed to do just that – as well as cutting down on energy costs for the homeowner.”
