The Grundfos Hydro MPC-S for straightforward control

The Hydro MPC-S pressure booster maintains constant pressure in a building through cutting-in and cutting-out pumps as required, ensuring you get straightforward control of your booster set. The operating range of the pumps stays between two pressure points – the Set pressure and Cut-out pressure. Pump changeover is automatic and depends on load, operating hours and operating conditions.

Reduced energy consumption

Proportional-pressure mode adapts to the actual pressure required to optimise energy efficiency and achieve water and energy savings.

Multi-sensor function

The system optimises performance by changing the setpoint according to the measured values from up to six sensors installed in the system.

Smooth operation

With the Hydro MPC, it is possible to install an external primary sensor. In case of a cable break or sensor failure, the secondary sensor takes over to make sure that the system runs smoothly.

Smooth start-up

Soft pressure build-up ensures a smooth start-up of the system. Empty pipes are slowly filled with water to minimise the risks of water hammer, leaks and flooding, thus reducing maintainance costs.
