The Oxiperm OCC-164 4-10 kg/h disinfection system is widely used in the food and beverage industry to remove harmful microorganisms, like legionella, from process water. The final C in its name – the OCC – stands for concentrated, while the D in its sister model, the OCD-164, stands for diluted. Both names refer to the type of base solutions of sodium chlorite and hydrochloric acid used to produce chlorine dioxide.
