UP, UPS (N) ensure extra protection from corrosion

These canned rotor circulator pumps have a stainless-steel pump housing and are variants of the small and medium-sized UP and the large three-speed UPS circulators. Recommended for underfloor heating systems, the stainless steel housing helps protect your circulator pump from corrosion caused by air in the pumped liquid.

The UP (N) and the UPS (N) are used in both open and closed systems and are of the canned rotor type, with the pump and motor forming an integral unit without a shaft seal and with only two gaskets for sealing. The bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid.

The pumps incorporate a thermal overload switch in the stator. If the winding temperature becomes too high, the switch will interrupt the electricity supply either via an internal relay or an external contactor.
