Show your pump some love this valentine's day and discover how you can prolong the length of it's life with 4 simple steps.
FIX IT TO A FIRM, FLAT BASE!
When installing a pump, make sure it is fixed to a firm base. This will stop the pump from moving or being knocked around in harsh weather conditions. A base can also help minimise and isolate vibration, should your pump be prone to it.
Leaving your pump out in the weather will the reduce the life of the pump. Ensure your pump is shielded from harsh weather conditions. Electric motors and controllers can be negatively affected by rain and direct sunlight.
Prevention is better than cure, as they say! If you count on your pump to provide a reliable water source to your home and/or garden, we recommend getting it serviced every 2 years. Simple servicing and wearable parts replacement can significantly lengthen the life of your pump.
READ UP BEFORE YOU INSTALL!
Pumps are manufactured and designed to be used a certain way. Always read the manufacturers installation and operating instruction manual before installing a pump.
