Reinventing Tomorrow

Case Competition 27-28 April 2022

Do you have what it takes to rethink the future?

Deadline: 18 April 2022

APPLICATION PERIOD CLOSED

We are looking for future-thinking engineers to join us in redefining domestic heating systems

Bring your open-minded perspectives and fresh ideas and be a part of addressing radical CO2 emission reduction, one of the most pressing sustainability challenges facing the planet. You'll have the chance to win 20.000DKK and the opportunity to take your ideas further through an internship or student assistant position at Grundfos.

Historically, heating systems in the home have been designed based on individual components and have been dependent on manual settings. These legacy systems are not optimised to reduce CO2 emissions and leave open many opportunities to secure better energy efficiency while maintaining comfort. Do you have what it takes to invent the smart controls and distribution devices for domestic heating systems of the future?

The global population will reach 10 billion people by 2050, and we know that an exponential growth in residential building services poses a climate challenge; residential buildings account for 25% of CO2 emissions and 10% of water consumption globally. There’s a lot that needs to be done, and at Grundfos we have an opportunity to shape the future.
